Circa had to be one of the best live acts to have come out of Northampton in the late 90's. Andrews delicate construction of perfect harmonies and power pop sensibilities create a psychedelic swirl that Syd Barrett would have be proud of, before he went loony that is (I meant Syd and not Andrew of course). Reflections of such English song writing skill is evident from all three tracks think The Kinks, Paul Weller and early Davy Jones & The Lower Third to name check but a few.
Circa played a few gigs for us in the early part of this decade and they set the benchmark for a quality live act that has been a struggle for some to compete with.
From these humble beginnings circa transformed in to The High Drivers (Hopefully postings from this band will be available shortly) and then in to the much publicised Danny Connors, Andrew Crofts collaboration The OnOffs.
