The Hate Bombs' music is an explosive combination of garage punk, fuzz and rock insanity!
Known nationally in the live circuit for their manic musical performances, they pull off just as powerful deliverance on HUNT YOU DOWN. The band started their own record label, Speed-O-Meter, in 1993 intending to use the label to put out their own releases. As the Speed-O-Meter gained in popularity so did the band and the label became less of a priority. The Hate Bombs have an impressive discography, with releases not only on Speed-O-Meter, but many compilation appearances Helter Skelter, Spinning Top, Blood Red Vinyl, Baskervinyl, and the Dionysus compilation TIGER MASK TRASH AU GO-GO. The Hate Bombs are also well known in the fest-circle, putting in smokin' sets at Treblefest, Dixie Fried Back Alley Brawl, Gutterfest, The Dionysus Demolition Derby and Cave Stomp 99. People constantly confuse Ken Hate Bomb with Bruce Brand of Thee Headcoats, though some think he looks like a young Mike Love from The Beach Boys!
